Hey everybody, just a quick question about my cat's behavior. I'll start off by telling you he's a 3 year old blue point siamese named Tyrion. We got him with a broken tail and my mom called him "the imp."
Sometimes my cat will meow up the stairs from the first floor of the house when I'm upstairs. I like to go down and see what he wants. Then I wait for him to walk to something to show me what he wants. After walking around at the bottom of the steps for a while, rubbing his face on the corners of the walls in the hallway, he'll suddenly bite at my ankles and the bottom of my leg. I've noticed this happens mostly when I'm wearing shorts. It's a pretty light bite, but he's taken his claws out and drawn just a little bit of blood blood twice.
I hate to freak out on him, but it startles me every time and I yelp out a "Hey! No!" What can I do to teach him to stop this behavior?
Any kind of help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!
