Their website says (or said when I signed up back in Nov) that it was a 1 - 2 week reimbursement processing time). Right now they're sitting about 30- 40 days out. That's a long time to wait when you're paying the vet up front.
Customer service is horrendous and no one is ever available for their chat function.
After 30+ days of waiting, I just got a $1780 claim denied today because I had to hospitalize my cat for a mucus plug blockage. Pets Best told me it was a preexisting condition even though he'd never had it before, never even hospitalized before except to get neutered a few years go, and vet agreed with me.
They told me I could appeal it but it would take 60 more days. Meanwhile, the vet wants their payment and I have to continue to pay the insurer to even be considered to be processed.
So sitting at 90 days out for a "maybe" and out $1780 all while insured.
Yeah, I cancelled my policy today.
Don't be like me.
