So, this happened a little out of the blue, and certainly not at the best of times, middle of the pandemic and all, but long story short, I have to pick up a puppy today, on very short notice.
So, I can't really say I am very prepared. And by this, I mean I am not prepared at all.
So, she is a month old, she has been weaned and is eating semi solid food. She is a part of a litter of 5 or 6, and they were all kept with the parents during the breastfeeding period.
Today I will be picking her up, and doing as much shopping as is possible to make her adaptation go as smoothly as I can.
So any and all advice is appreciated on how to deal with a puppy, house-training, making the house dog proof, training her not to chew everything and preferably teaching her not to bark too much so it doesn't affect the neighbours.
As I am in a "quarantined" country, she will not be spending much time alone, if any.
Any literature is also welcome.
Thanks a lot
