He pees on all our clothes, the pillows, the couch, in the sinks, on the counters, in the bed, literally every place he can reach he pees on. He’s peed in my purse and on my boyfriend’s book bag too. Every single day he pisses somewhere new. We are at our limits and I can’t keep going like this.
We adopted puppy six months ago, he’s about seven-eight months old now. The cat was fine at first but the past month or so the peeing has gotten out of control! He has his own room, which is our office. That’s where his litter box is (which hasn’t changed) and his toys. It’s gated in with a baby gate so the dog doesn’t go in there. Theres plenty of places to hide in the office but the cat never hangs out in there.
Vet says the cat is fine, so no UTI’s or anything. Puppy is crated during the day. The cat has his own space and toys and everything. I leave windows open for him because he loves looking out. I’ve had this cat for five years and he’s never done anything like this before- until the past few months.
I don’t know what else to do. Some say Feliway diffusers help so I ordered one of those. We’ll see how it goes. But in the mean time, I just don’t know what to do... please help!
