Hello, looking for a bit of guidance.
I have a 5/6 year old gsd, she is a rescue and we have had her nearly a year.
Usually when we say 'let's to go bed' to her she darts up and straight on the bed, she's always happy cause while we watch something to unwind she gets lots of love and pets. She even just snoozes on us.
When it's time for us to go to sleep we tell her to go to her bed and she huffs but goes into her crate. We don't lock the door, she sometimes gets too hot and lays on the floor.
She's normally so happy to go to bed and leaps to come upstairs but the last few days she's been reluctant to do so. After a bit of coaxing she comes up settles and sleeps through the night as usual.
She's now taken to lying under desks when we are on our computer too (which is fine, I know they like to do that, she also just likes to be close to us all the time, which is another reason she normally sleeps in our room)
Theres been no changes we haven't moved anything or no loud noises in this room, we haven't changed her bed inside the cage, we've not told her off in this room.
We have a carbon monoxide alarm in this room that she kind of looks at when in here but she's always peeked up at it. I thought maybe it could be because it's emitting a noise I can't hear?
Any insight would be appreciated. Always had dogs but never had any do something like this, all my dogs have always slept in the same room or on my bed so I'm inexperienced in this way.
