I’m looking for anyone with personal experience flying with a pet on the CRJ-900 and Boeing 757 with Delta. Apparently the max carrier size for the CRJ is 13x13x8?? That’s so small. Yet they also require the pet to be able to move around. My cat isn’t big, only about 9.5 lbs, but I don’t think she could do much moving in such a small carrier. So what’s more important to the airline, size or pet comfort?? I don’t mind buying the smaller carrier but I don’t want to be turned away because she can’t stand up in it. This is already so stressful since I’m moving by myself to Seattle in the middle of this pandemic. I called and made her reservation on the plane, but I just don’t know what to do about carrier size vs pet comfort requirements.
