So, I date her (F27) for 6 years more and live with her for 1 year. And she wanted a cat, so after some time, I finally accepted it.
She was super excited to get it, because she always had cats when living with her parents. On the other hand, I had my doubts, because we don't have anyone to take care of it in our city when we travel.
Pet daycare is expensive and friends sometimes can't stay with the cat. But this was a situation for the future. Ok then, I accepted and I am not having problems with this.
The first day the cat arrived home, she was still happy until when she went to bed. The cat mewed all night long and she couldn't sleep.
When I woke up, she was already crying about not wanting the cat, instantly regretted it. Sincerity I don't know, because she is in her period too. Anyway,now she thought about the times we will need to travel and how we got this cat.
I got really angry with this because I told her so... But she wanted the cat... She works from home and says she can't work with him there...
And while now I am okay with the cat, she is crying all day long, tonight she sobbed her heart out.
She doesn't want the cat anymore, but we can't give the cat back, neither I think we will find someone to adopt it.
I don't know if it's her period, or if simply regrets the cat because of our travel situation. I wouldn't like to give this cat back, she chose to have it, she can't suddenly change her mind about it in 1 f* day. Should I wait to see if she will calm down? Any tips, advices?
Tldr: gf wanted a cat and 1 day after she got, she regrets it and is crying all day because she is in her period.
