I'm considering getting a pet, I don't have much money and I live in a shared house with a concrete garden,
This means any pet I have must be cheap to keep, be able to live in a small bedroom, and not produce much of a smell. I have mild allergies to fur but have lived with cats for many years and just dealt with it.
I have been thinking a snake, but I think I would like a more effectionate pet, one that is able to be handled plenty in times of distress.
I don't think there is a good pet for me, given my situation but I thought it would be worth asking. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
