Hey friends update on my dog "who's too old"

I've contacted the vet's office and asked if I can get a full copy of his medical records. The vet placed me on hold for an hour. Only to tell me to call back later they was having a busy day which I understood because it's the closest vet in town and the only one close the next bet office is 25 minutes away (the vet I'm wanting to transfer too) I called back later and asked if i could get a full copy of Tiago's medical history and the woman told me that they would have to confirm who I was in person which makes sense I thought so I drive from my house to the vet and wait and wait and wait and wait. I finally asked again when I could get the records and they needed proof it was my dog so I showed them my license and the woman said let me go get him (the vet) he comes out and tells me " Ms xxx our clinic won't allow us to hand over medical records to individuals. Some sort of company policy which again I thought had logic even though I'm the dogs guardian I asked if he could fax over his medical records too the other vet and he said he would. I gave the fax number and a few hours go by and I call my new vet and they havnt received anything and I've contacted the vet three times and they place me on extended hold or tell me the vet's not there. I just want my baby back on his meds wish I could just buy them online but I'll still need a prescription 😭😭 I feel like I'm not doing all I can 😔
