I want to adopt an adult dog, preferably a mini schnauzer or non shedding small dog. problem is I have to go through a background check akin to becoming an FBI agent to rescue a dog (which I won't do. not providing references, not filling out ten page applications, not doing interviews or inspections. do not like the process)
I don't want to pay $1,000 plus for a dog from a breeder.
are those the only ways?
