I went I my dad’s house over the weekend and came back to my hamster having a small scratch on his nose, what happened?

I stayed over at my dad’s house for a couple days and when I came back I noticed that my hamster, Oliver, had a small scratch on his nose. I think he might just be bar biting but I’m not really sure.
