My cat accidentally pees on himself sometimes

Title is pretty self-explanatory. My cat is a dumb dumb and sometimes he accidentally pees on himself (like his leg) when using the litter box. I assume it’s because he stands upright to pee - he puts his front paws up on the edge of the litter box like a weirdo. Sometimes I find little pee drops in the hallway, so I’m wondering if he might have some mild incontinence. He is an otherwise healthy cat. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this? It’s super annoying because male cat urine is obviously very stinky and he sometimes transfers it to surfaces, such as the couch 🤦🏼‍♀️
