I've been an animal owner most of my life. I am an avid spay or neuter your pet. But I just in the last couple of weeks have been reading you shouldn't get your dog spayed until they are at least a year old if not 2 because it causes hip dysplasia and prevents them from getting hormones they need to grow. Why have I never heard this before? Is this new? I would prefer to hear from veterinarians on this topic. Please and thank you for your time and knowledge!!
