So I know that TECHNICALLY you’re not supposed to feed your dog bones. Growing up, my family always had big dogs (thing mastiffs and Rottweilers) After dinner, if there were bones we’d make the dogs do a trick and give it to them as a treat. They never got sick. They never choked. They never died from internal bleeding. Now I have a little dog. I wouldn’t even think about feeding her a bone. Got in a discussion with my beau tonight that has me wondering, what’s the actual risk? Everything says that bad things can happen if I do feed my dog bones, but personally, I’ve never had any bad experience. Had trouble finding actual statistics online, so now I’m left wondering if feeding my dog a bone is the statistical equivalent of dying from getting on a plane or from trying juggle chainsaws in the middle of an interstate. Input?
