Guy is built like a little bulldog and projects the same sort of willful energy. I’ve been keeping him cordoned off, but there was no adjustment period and he acts like he owns the place. My cats are understandably wary and he just trucks himself out and gets in their face while they hunker down and occasionally hiss. No overt reaction, just quiet intense forward posturing and cornering. It’s bizarre. It took me a week to even get to brief encounters and he’s actually made it worse by acting like a sociopath. I made a topic earlier questioning if he might still be a kitten, but I’m wondering if he’s just really dominant.
I’m only fostering, thankfully, but I don’t think my cats can get used to this with his behavior.
