My fiancé and I rescued this beautiful stray kitten a few months ago. He’s fun and playful and so sweet.
He’s very aggressive though and I can’t figure out why.
I don’t get the sense that he’s scared or annoyed with us most of the time. For example, we’ll just be laying in bed and suddenly he’ll come up and bite me in the arm or something.
It’s more than a playful bite, but doesn’t necessarily seem angry either. He clearly enjoys being around us and when coming home after a long day he can be super affectionate (for like 15 min). He follows us around he house. He seems happy... but sometimes he can be really aggressive for seemingly no reason.
We got him fixed, have taken him to the vet, he has no medical issues...
Is he just trying to assert his dominance or something?
