I wasn't sure how to phrase the question but here's the scenario:
We had to relinquish our cat in 2012 because my parents got divorced, sold the house and neither wanted the cat. I was a teenager at the time, so I didn't have control over the situation. We brought the cat to the Anti-Cruelty Society in downtown Chicago.
It's eight years later, I'm an adult, and I'm wondering if there's any way to track her down? Or to find out who adopted her?
This is probably a pretty weird question, but figured I'd see if anyone had any suggestions other than just calling the place...or maybe that is the best thing.
