My dog is 10 or 11 years old, a silky terrier, and within these last months I've noticed that sometimes she starts sleeping very deeply. I mean I can shake her roughly, pull her mouth open (one time I even brushed her teeth while she was like this), and she doesn't wake up. She whimpers and kicks sometimes while in this state.
My mom also said to me that she's breathing "weirdly" but I personally haven't noticed that.
