I’m a 20f but I’ve had a kitten since she was born when I was 17. Since then she’s had three litters. My husband and I kept a kitten from her last litter and he is amazing and is doing so good. This latest litter we decided to keep to repopulate the farm cats on our property. One of the kittens died around 3 months bc he was small from birth and was always sick. When I called about him to the vet, the nurse said to just keep him with their mom. While his death was obviously beyond heartbreaking and I had to deal with that, another kitten started to get worse without me seeing it. She’s now lethargic and not eating but I’ve done all I can besides taking her to the vet and my husband says it’s too late. Basically I am wondering if anyone knows why this litter has done so poorly, if it’s my fault, and if the four month old lethargic, non-eating kitten can be saved bc I’ll take her in if she has any chance of survival
