Advice needed! Third cat?

We currently have two cats, one is two years old, the other 4 months. They generally get along fine, although the 4-month old is very playful at times and wants to play with the other cat, which the other cat doesn't like. This sometimes results in some growling.

We're debating whether to get a third cat, a kitten, but aren't sure whether they will all get along. On the one hand we think it might be nice for the two kittens to play with each other, on the other hand we're just not sure how they will all respond to each other. The 4-month old has a flat-chest syndrome and has had surgery for that, he will have been recovered by the time the kitten would come to live with us (she's now three weeks old).

The 2-year old is a girl, the 4-month old is a boy and the new kitten would be a girl. The oldest one has been helped, the 4-month old will be helped as soon as he's recovered from surgery.

If anyone has any advice regarding whether it is a good idea to welcome the new kitten into our home that would be highly appreciated! We've taken additional costs that come with an extra cat regarding food and possible health issues and such into account and that isn't an issue.
