Yesterday I was playing games on the computer with my grandson. He steps out of the room and about a minute later it sounds like my cats are fighting. Apparently one of my cats were inside the recliner. When he pulled the lever for the foot rest. The cat must have tried to escape. I come rushing in thinking my cats are fighting. Which they never do. Anyways I look behind the recliner and see our female cat about two thirds of her body sticking out the bottom. Panicking and going crazy trying to get free. There could not have been more than 2-3 inches where her lower half was stuck. Of course I am panicked. Cant deal with the front half. Scratch the crap out of me. Cant reach the bottom half. So I slowly lower the foot rest which increase the gap and she was able to get free. She is OK but I was scared. Always feared recliners and pets. First time in decades my fear became reality.
