Hi guys, I really love cats and I would love the opportunity to adopt a cat or buy one. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I am allergic to cats (mildly allergic) I get itchy eyes, sneezing... a bit of discomfort in breathing ( might need to use my asthma pump) and my cheeks itch too so really nothing crazy. I’d also like to mention I haven’t been around cats for a super prolonged amount of time so I don’t know the effects of interacting with a cat day to day would be like for my allergies. If anyone has any information on if hypoallergenic cats actually reduce allergies or stop them that would be such valuable information. Also if you guys know any breeds that create less of an allergic reaction that would be amazing. Thank you
