My canary Raymond died a couple of months ago. (Please notice I am VERY attached to my canaries) I didn't want my other bird Nugget to get sad and lonely after losing her best friend/sibling, so I got another canary, Soba, who is also her sibling. Raymond die very unexpectedly, as he was in great health. We assume it could've been a stroke. I was distraught and unsettled for the next weeks, and every day I wake up with a horrible anxiety wondering if I'll walk down to find them dead, since it could happen at any moment. I'm worrying about my parents too, my dad had to travel for work and I kept wondering, what if he died? It's really distracting to worry about my birds all day every day, how do I stop?
