My cat is a three year old Bengal. I feed her every morning, and by the next morning her bowl is usually empty and ready for more. I started noticing her not eating any of her food a few days ago, in the morning it would still be there. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the bag of food and switched it out for a new one but she still didnt eat. after 4 days of 0 food, and noticing there was no poop in the litter box, I was super worried and rushed her to the vet. They did blood work and an X-Ray to find out why she wasn't eating (which cost about $400) but both came back normal. the vet did say that her stomach and bowl was empty.
so we didnt know why she wasnt eating but he prescribes an appetite stimulant and and anti-nausea medication. today was her second day on the medication and she has eaten maybe 2 bites of food all day, and still hasn't pooped. she is drinking water but wont eat anything and ive started to notice her lack of energy, she's sleeping a lot more, and has a harder time jumping on to the furniture. I am very very worried about her and have no clue whats causing this, if anyone knows of anything that could be causing this or experienced similar things please please let me know! i'm terrified something is very wrong with her and I know she cant go much linger without food.
