I’m getting a puppy soon and a relative said to train it so it learns to be in a cage while I’m gone. Because everyone will be out the house from around 7 AM to 3 PM, my sister thinks it’s a good idea to train the dog so it knows to be in the cage during that time period. But I did some research (and used some personal thought) and realized keeping dogs in a cage is considered cruel.
