Hi everyone!
So my partner and I are thinking about moving to Perth, Western Australia from Melbourne, Victoria (obviously post things settling down in Victoria; hopefully we get out of lock down soon lol) and of course we’re taking our 2 year old kitty with us. Upon doing some research I found that Australian airlines don’t allow pets in the cabin, and they must go in the cargo area. This idea literally terrifies me, I’d honestly rather drive the whole way rather than have her all alone under there; I’ve heard some real horror stories about pets unfortunately not being taken care of and passing away in extreme circumstances! So my question is: has anyone flown interstate with their pet with them in the cargo area? How did it go? Am I just being a dramatic cat mum? Any experiences would be welcome! Thanks in advance!
