So I have a male kitten, about to be 4 months old, and all of a sudden he's been very needy. I give him adequate playtime (30-40 min sessions) and I feed him 3 times a day. I've had him for about a month and it just started recently.
Every time I sit on the couch he'll lay down and start biting me. I tend to get up and stop the behavior right away but it gets to the point where he thinks it's play and literally jump on me and bite me multiple times. I try to give him a toy to bite instead but quickly lose interest and try jumping on me and biting me. It's gotten to the point where I leave the living room, go to my room and close the door so he doesn't continue.
Is he teething or is it a bad behavior starting to form? How do I train him not to do it?
EDIT: I forgot to mention this mostly happens after a play session and feeding him. I think he calms down but they when I go on the couch, he start the bad behavior.
