Writing this for someone else who isn't on reddit. She and her family got 2 kittens, a brother and sister, three or so weeks ago. They've gotten along well, playing and laying down together.
The boy was neutered when the adoption happened, but the sister still hadn't been spayed. She was finally able to get the surgery today, and was gone for about 10 hours. When she got back, the brother completely changed toward her. He's now been hissing at her and throwing her food out of her bowl. She hasn't been aggressive at all and is upset and confused. They share a room and we're worried that he's going to just keep bullying her.
If anyone has any insight or advice it would be appreciated.
