One of my neighbors is a city cop (lucky me) and has a beautiful full grown blue pit bull (lucky him). I’ve seen him outside of his apartment with the dog maybe two times since the day he’s gotten her 6 months ago, which I know because I’m in a small town and the local humane society post every adoption on their insta that I follow and I saw the day he adopted it.
I have felt terribly for this poor dog but I don’t know what to do. I can’t say I’m 100% sure this is happening and I’m a weed smoker in a state where it isn’t legal. I also have pretty bad anxiety about police since I was arrested a few years back and really don’t want him to know I reported anything if I’m wrong. (He drove me home once when I had a panic attack during a traffic stop, so he knows me)
How can i make sure the dog isn’t being neglected while also not putting a target on my back??
