For context, my dad and I moved and he said I can get a pet. We’re moving into a fairly large apartment on the bottom floor. It has a backyard. I’m supposed to be taking care of it myself (I’m 13) and I would like to get ideas on the kind of animal that would be best suited for me. I go to school for 9 hours but I’m normally home for the rest of the day. I have experience with dogs and cats, both big and small, but this will be the first that I’m caring for mostly by myself. Allergies aren’t much of a problem and neither is price. There is a dog park nearby that I’m able to walk any dogs at.
