I plan to do a 10 hour-drive with my wife and our kitten next month. We'll have the kitten in her carrier during the time the car is moving. I'm reading conflicting reports about carriers and seatbelts or not - some links say put her in a carrier and a sealtbelt around it, some links say to NOT do that because if the carrier is not designed properly for this that is a lot less safe than just putting the carrier on the floor of the car on the back seat. And reddit seems to mostly say to get a car-approved safe carrier that can be safely be strapped to a seatbelt in the back seat.
What's correct, and if the right answer is get a proper carrier that's designed for attaching it to a seatbelt what brands/models are those that you can get on Amazon? (I don't live in the US but Amazon ships to my country). Thank you very much!
