I've wanted a bird for a while, and I've settled on a cockatiel. I checked with the pet stores in my area and they all say they get their baby cockatiels sometime after October. That's about 3 months from now. I looked at what birds they have and the only birds I'd want to / be able to get would be a budgie. And I like budgies, but I would much rather a cockatiel. I struggle to be patient, but I'm not sure if I should wait another 3-4 months to get a bird I'd rather get, or should I just get a budgie now?
And if I wait, does anyone have advice to pass the time faster to when I could get a cockatiel?
