My cat recently got his tooth pulled a little less than a month ago. They pulled his tooth out because he had a bad tooth infection(swollen cheek) and sent him home with antibiotics. 2 days after that I brought him back because his face was still swollen. They drained his cyst that day and sent him home with more antibiotics. He started swelling up in a different area a couple of days later (near the nose bridge and eye but on the same side of the tooth infection). I brought him back again and they took an x-ray to see if it was a tumor. They couldn't find anything and said it was inflammation. They gave him steroids to treat the inflammation it was almost 2 weeks passed with almost no signs of improvement. I took him to the vet again and they said he has to be on steroids for the rest of his life. They are thinking it's a brain tumor but something doesn't seem right with that. They did an x-ray and the timing is weird. He's been eating a lot and acting normally so I don't think he's in pain.
