Hi all,
As the title sais, I got myself a puppy, born in march, and I'm looking for advices.
Currently the puppy bites too much, whenever someone approachs him with good will, he thinks this person wants to play and starts bitting hands and jumping to the face attemping to bite as well. The problem comes when he does it at home and sometimes i might be a bit too hard on him. I slap him a bit his nose when he jumps to the face and this is, I think, leading to him not liking me much and I don't want that.
I would like him to be a nice dog and not fear me, but I dont know how to do so he obbeys and doesn't bite me. I have tried with treats, but he only obbeys if he knows I have treats for him, otherwise no fucks are given....
Any advices on how to handle such a stubborn boy?
