There is a Eastern rosella birb loose in my neighborhood. I have been hearing his call for about a week not knowing what it was and this morning he landed on my balcony. I tried offering him some cracker bread and seeds but he flew off to a big meadow. I followed him moving very carefully when I got close. I was not yet successful catching him. He must be a pet bird cause he has a band on his ankle and he's not native to Germany. It's getting relatively cold lately and I worry he won't be well. I heard trying to throw a towel to catch him might help but I haven't tried it yet. Does anyone have any ideas how to catch him so I can bring him to the vet? Thank you for any help or advice!
