Hopefully this isn’t rambling but I noticed recently my cats litter box has smelled so strongly of ammonia, but I’m not to sure on why. I just got through a scented litter (it’s all they had after the panic buying) and switched her back to unscented a few weeks ago. I also had to change her food from just Purina indoor advantage to the urinary tract health one (again, all they had after the panic buying). She’s acting 100% normal and her belly isn’t hurting or distended. I read online (I hate saying that) that a UTI can cause a super strong ammonia smelling urine, but there’s so many variables at play I’m not sure what is causing this. Does anyone have any insights?
