I've had my cat on the Purina gentle food for over a year and we noticed that any time she threw up a hairball, it would also be a consistency of the food we gave her. Recently (3 weeks now), I've switched her over to Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly and she's taken to it so well. When she coughs up a hairball now, it's only the hair and very little of the food she ate. I've also taken to giving her Greenies Hairball control treats every other day.
But my friend, who works at a pet store, has mentioned that she hasn't heard good things about Blue Buffalo and that they don't add much grain and high protein in their food, so I'm a little hesitant to buy another bag, but she's doing very good on the food.
My question is, are there any good pet food brands for a cat with a sensitive stomach? I don't mind paying extra if it makes it easier on my cat.
