My dog of 12 yrs had his first seizure on Sun 11/30 and I need advice.

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice from people who have been in similar situations and I'll try to be as in-depth as possible.

I have a 12yr old dog who is a mix of a Bichon Frise and Mini Poodle mix. Prior to the inciting incident, He has had very minor health issues like back pain that have subsided with medication and it's been years since that has happened that I can't even recall when it occurred. On Sunday, my dog seemed to appear in low spirits but still able to function normally until he started to have a seizure that lasted for a few minutes. He was taken immediately to the hospital where he stayed for the night in the ICU. The day after, he was discharged with a diagnosis of a suspect brain tumor. He was prescribed 250mg of Levetiracetam every 8 hr and 5mg of Prednisone every 12hr. After being dismissed he would constantly drool, and twitch, and displayed repetitive behavior like walking in circles. Although interested in food he was not able to chew/swallow a significant amount when given. He wasn't able to pee or poop and was unable to sleep throughout the night for more than a couple of minutes at a time. On Tuesday, he was brought to another vet to be monitored for a couple of hours. When he was picked up, the vet that had assessed him did not suspect a brain tumor but rather epilepsy brought on by old age. The vet changed his medication schedule by instructing that he'd be given 5mg of the Prednisone once a day for 3 days and later half of that daily. The vet also changed the dosage of the Levetiracetam to 125mg before bedtime and suspected that the behavior that he displayed on Monday was an overdose of the Levetiracetam. After being picked up he was better in comparison with a decline in drooling and twitching. He was able to urinate and sleep. He would occasionally start biting tongue and drool kind of foaming at the mouth, but it would not last for more than a few seconds. He was able to eat a little more and was more responsive. Today he was remaining stable until at 4:48 pm he had a seizure that lasted less than a minute. Right now, I'm just very afraid and confused about what's happening to my dog and don't know what to do. I want to be able to give him the time to recuperate but I don't know if that time would be better spent seeking a specialist. These past days have been absolute torture and the fear of potentially seeing him suffer or die is leaving me unable to function or think clearly. Any advice on what I should do would be much appreciated and I'd be happy to answer any questions.
