My brother got a kitten for my mother as an early Christmas gift.
I’m not much of a cat person but she’s super adorable and I don’t mind taking care of her until my mom gets home.
When I first got home today, she seemed afraid and distant. I figured I would just stay in my mom’s room until she gets back but it’s 11:50pm, this cat is cuddled up to my neck and wants attention, and she won’t go to sleep.
I’d like for the kitten to go to sleep so that I can take a nap but she keeps wanting me to pet her.
What do I do to get her to sleep? She’s pawing at my hands as I type this so I write this so that I pet her lol
