My cat will be 12 next month, and she’s starting to show it. I have a 9 month old puppy, so I don’t leave the cat’s food bowl on the floor where the pup could get to it. Instead, I put it on a chest that my cat can jump up onto and eat. Lately, it seems like getting up there is a little harder than it used to be. The chest is 19 in tall. Due to allergies and carpet-eating issues, the kiddos aren’t allowed in the back of the apartment. They get to roam the living room, dining, and kitchen. I’m wondering if there’s anywhere I can put her food bowl that’s easier on her body but still out of reach from the puppy? They pick at their food throughout the day and don’t eat “meals” at set times. TIA!
