Hi I have a question regarding a small breed of dog playing with a large breed of dog. My Staffordshire Terrier mix, Buddy, is an active energetic dog that likes to pounce on people, as well as other dogs. I have a pet Jack Russel Terrier named Milo and recently introduced him to Buddy but unfortunately, Buddy sometimes barks and paws at Milo and I'm not sure whether this is okay or if I should immediately separate them. Also when this happens, Milo bites and barks at Buddy when he tries to paw him. Would this mean that Milo is uncomfortable and doesn't want to play? He runs or lowers himself from Buddy when it happens too.
Note: Don't worry I don't force Milo to stay with Buddy, I separate them when I feel that Milo isn't having a playful good time with buddy. I understand that hes a much bigger breed and can easily hurt Milo.
