My girlfriend and I have two cats. Now both are most of the time inside, especially now since it's freezing outside, in the summer they prefer to be outside, but they usually stick to their turf and don't wander off, except when they decide to go on a short 10 minutes walk us. They know their place pretty well.
Lately they've been going to sleep and waking up at the same time as me and my girlfriend, then they usually ask themselves out, returning back withing an hour or two. The problem is one hasn't returned since the morning today, which is now around 20 hours ago. We've been searching for her for the 8 hours and it's not possible for me right now to fall asleep. Im just wondering where she could be and if she's doing alright, especially since it's quite cold outside right now.
We've posted a Facebook post, put some of her favourite blankets on her favourites spots outside and food nearby. We also asked a neighbour, she said she didn't saw her but thinks that there's a chance someone might took her at an burial today, which was not really far away from our house, in fact she sometimes likes to go near the graveyard, but is a really shy cat to strangers, has an yellow thing around her neck and overly fed, which makes it obvious she has got an owner. She has a routine that she sticks to everyday and I know something isn't right.
Please some advice, already had rough past two weeks, Im totally confused, sleep deprived and anxious. I really, really, really love this cat and I can't really handle losing her...
