I have a water fountain for my two cats and one chihuahua. I replace the water daily and give it a scrub every other day. Still, within several days after replacing the charcoal filter (monthly), it turns brown. It doesn’t have a smell as far as my human nose can tell and my lil buds don’t seem to mind... still, I worry. Does anyone know why this is happening, or what I should be doing differently??
