My cat is attacking me

If you can offer any advice, I'd really appreciate it. In my house are my mom and dad, sister, and my two cats. One cat is a female black tabby, 14 years old. The other is a male orange tabby, 2 years old. The problem is with the orange one. He's very rough and energetic. He will bite my ankles out of literally nowhere, and has broken the skin multiple times. I could just be sitting on the couch and he'd sprint up to me and attack me. The worst one was tonight. His pupils were very big, like when you see a cat stalking a toy, except it looked like actual malice instead of playfulness and he bit me once on the leg and once on my wrist. My family has tried all we can think of. We play with him whenever we can, he always has access to stuff like toys and scratching posts, we've tried the "be calm and leave to let him know playtime is over" business, I did my own research to see what I could do, and nothing is working. The strange thing is, he only seems to do this to me. He will hardly ever bite my parents or sister. I'm getting really tired of having to be physically rescued from him by my family. Are we doing something wrong? What can I do to get him to stop attacking me?
