I had a beautiful cat. I wasn’t able to keep her anymore so after trying to rehome her, I couldn’t find an applicant I was pleased with. So I found a shelter with a lot of good reviews and decided to take them there. I really feel like a mom who has lost her kid. The cat was obviously very upset and growling and it made me waver about my decision. There was a household that I was set on but after reviewing their place and conversation, I felt that it won’t be a happy home for the cat. The shelter was friendly via the phone but when I got there I felt the volunteer’s attitude towards me changed. I even expressed my intention in volunteering and gratitude for taking her in.
Did I make the wrong decision?
