my kitty is almost turning a year and i plan to get her spayed soon. My clinic is doing a deal on spay/nuter for $80 + mandatory $125 for pre surgical blood work + $50 for updated rabbies shot. Since shes is a indoor/outdoor cat she got a rabbies about 4 months ago, so how exactly necessary is this second rabbies shot? My clinic has a tendency to always upsell so assuming i do get the updated rabbies shot my bill comes up to $305 including a $50 consultation fee. Which isn't too bad i guess but i ways feel like every visit i've made in the past somehow the bill adds up $200+ for basic vaccination. Am i being charged unnecessarily or am i just being cheap? Thanks :)
The currency is in Canadian.
