I am picking up my 3 month old kitten this weekend. I am going to feed him Iams Proactive Health dry kitten food, since that is the food his foster family was feeding him. I know that they free-fed him, but I am scared this will lead to him being obese. If I do free-feed, how can I make sure he doesn’t become obese, how much food do I put in the bowl, and when do I take it away? The bag says to serve 1/3 cup per day, but that sounds so little! If not free-feeding, what do you think is the best way to feed him? Any help is appreciated!
