Any tips to have an older dog and cat get along? They’ve lived together for years already- both had an aversion to the other before we got them, so we did what we could with introductions when we got the dog but they clearly didn’t bond all that well. It’s nothing serious but you can tell there’s a bit of anxiety, the cat will usually get up and move if the dog starts smelling him, sometimes the cat will bat the dog a couple times. But like I said nothing bad, just thought it’d be nice if they got along a little better and didn’t stress each other out. A lot of the posts I was reading online are more geared towards first introductions and I’m trying to do something after the fact.
