Okay, so here's the thing.
I have a teacup Chihuahua and my moms side of the family, hates my dog for absolutely no reason. They say the most inconsiderate stuff about my dog, and it just bothers the hell out of me because what has my dog done to you besides bark, that you hate my dog? Things like, "where's your ugly stupid dog?", "you can put your dog in the basement.", "oh my gosh, your dog is so clingy.", "your dog is gonna poop in the house, you better watch her."
My cousin has a large pitbull that they've raised and despite it constantly sniffing everyones butts, going absolutely ballistic for no reason, pooping and peeing in the house, everyone seems to adore it. Don't get me wrong, I love their dog too, but what's wrong about my dog that they can't love it too?
They say I spoil my dog too much by buying my dog treats, clothes, and cuddling my dog too much. My dog is house trained and potty trained (from previous owners). Sure, my dog may be stupid sometimes, but my dog is literally always quiet, barely barks unless she's pissed about something or someone comes inside the house, and just wants cuddles.
Now it feels like I can't even bring my dog anywhere around them. I feel like I'm being dramatic and this is stupid.
