Any tips on how to help the current dog not feel neglected? My dog is a 14 year old lady, and next week I’m adopting a 4 month little girl. My dog had always been an only child and I don’t want her to feel neglected or excluded cause I love her with all my heart, but I feel that it’s time to bring in a little sister for her. So how can I make her still feel loved and important? And how can I get them to become friends? My dog isn’t aggressive or violent towards other dogs, she’s actually quite shy.
